2024: a year of success, full steam ahead into 2025!
I have always been impressed by our capacity to create and invent. Every year brings its share of new developments, and human ingenuity truly seems to know no limits.
2024 saw the rise of AI
Having witnessed many IT fads over the course of my career (object databases, client-server architecture, virtual reality…), I can also tell when something isn’t one. A revolution is underway, and for the first time, this technological revolution is fueling itself. Given the sheer number of announcements, it’s more than likely that AI is now working to improve AI engines.
Far from jumping on a moving train, we jumped straight into the locomotive to launch Maarchie, the first conversational AI assistant for drafting mail available in a GEC on the market.
We have also greatly improved our OCR and LAD tools to offer handwriting recognition and automatic routing.
Lastly, we launched internal working groups to use AI in our development work and in our customer support center. Adoption of AI within Maarch Courrier is happening gradually, and we still need to raise awareness and reassure our clients — that’s the price reserved for pioneers.
On the other hand, the new Maarch Courrier v24 signing platform is a resounding success.
Clients have seen the full value of a seamless journey through to electronic signature, with all the benefits of staying within Maarch Courrier: flexible, powerful workflows, notifications, storage and filing, and the ability to modify the document to be signed right up until the last minute.
Thank you to the inter-ministerial working group that made the design of this great feature possible.
We continue to enrich the features of our Digital Flow GED.
The arrival within the group of the new subsidiary « Xelians Integration Service« , specializing in the public sector, is the perfect opportunity to scale up Digital Flow and position it as a cross-functional GED within a comprehensive lifecycle management suite, from creation through to electronic archiving.
In summary, while maintaining comfortable growth, we have consolidated our position and invested heavily to drive 2025 forward at full speed.
At Maarch, we like to say that our clients are the ones who watch their spending closely: everything points to 2025 being an economically challenging year, one that will push businesses to optimize their spending and do more with less.
More open source, more made in France — could that be the key to recovery?
Dear colleagues, clients, suppliers, and partners, I extend my very best wishes for a 2025 filled with happiness and success!
