Coffreo is a company whose main activity is digitalizing all the documents exchanged between temporary workers, staffing agencies, and the companies that employ them (payslips, employment contracts, and other documents).
Every quarter, 2,500 flexible-employment agencies and companies entrust Coffreo with processing 2,100,000 assignments. Their application is used daily by 500,000 employees, deployed across tens of thousands of companies, 15,000 of which are connected to their services.
Coffreo makes the hiring process simple, engaging, compliant, and easily repeatable, putting it in a unique position to help its clients make the most of their data, and flexible workers make the most of their successive experiences.
Coffreo’s digitalization solutions notably include a digital vault which, with high volumes and numerous access points (1,500,000 registered flexible-employment workers and professionals), allows it to position itself as a major player in flexible employment.
Modernization, standardization: choosing Open Source
To provide secure storage and consultation services for payslips and other documents, Coffreo has a digital vault solution.
The choice of Maarch RM is part of a modernization and standardization approach, moving closer to the values of the Open Source and Free Software world.
Coffreo having made the digital vault its core business, one of the major objectives of this project was to obtain NF 203 mark certification, ensuring compliance with the NF Z 42-020 Digital Vault Component (CCFN) standard. As this certification is software-specific (unlike other standards in the document management field, such as NF Z 42-013), the scope of the project took into account the full range of efforts aimed at bringing Maarch RM into compliance.
As the first partner and sponsor of Maarch RM’s integration as a CCFN, Coffreo, thanks to its sharp & responsive teams, was able to question proposals, express its needs and those of the field, validate developments, and challenge implementation choices.
Maarch RM Digital Safe: Maarch’s response
The project, launched in summer 2019, began with the deployment of a Maarch RM platform.
This first step made it possible to quickly analyze the existing gap, on one hand with Coffreo’s legacy vault, and on the other hand with the technical and functional requirements and needs driven by the CCFN certification objective.
The collaboration between Coffreo & Maarch brought about numerous developments, all available within a new extension, Maarch RM Digital Safe, but also provided the opportunity to functionally enhance the archiving foundation and the Archives Publiques extension with advanced security levels, better management of large-volume deposits, and interface and form adjustments directly related to CCFN uses.
In addition to these developments, the certification objective was achieved in March 2020, affixing the NF 203 and NF ISO/IEC 25051 (SQuaRE) marks to the Maarch RM software. As a result, on this project of around fifty days, more than half was dedicated to NF 203 certification.
More than 100 million documents
Coffreo now relies on the scalability of Maarch RM to exceed 100 million stored documents by the end of 2020.
For Maarch, the task now is to maintain this product’s NF 203 mark certification and to pursue a continuous improvement approach to the quality and security of developments proposed for the vault, as well as for its other products.
