Maarch RM’s NF203 (Digital Vault) certification renewed!
The NF203 (Digital Vault) mark certification for the Maarch RM 2.7 product used with the DigitalSafe 2.6.2 extension has been renewed!
As a reminder, this extension allows Maarch RM to be used as a digital vault and was certified in February 2020.
A Digital Vault is a tool for storing, backing up, and preserving digital documents with evidential value.
This renewal demonstrates that we have been able to maintain the compliance of the software’s features with the requirements of the NF Z42-020 standard, as well as that of our quality processes (related to the product’s production and maintenance) with regard to the ISO 25010 framework – Systems and software Quality Requirements and Evaluation (SquaRE) – all while continuing to improve them.
NF Z42-020 standard and NF 203 mark
The NF Z42-020 standard and its accompanying NF 203 mark notably require a Digital Vault Component (CCFN) to have the following features:
- Eight functions relating to digital objects (deposit, read, destroy, read technical metadata, check, read log, list, count)
- Security levels featuring three types of user (General Administrator, Functional Administrator, Standard User)
- A principle of containers holding digital objects, which can themselves contain one or more data objects.
In addition to these product requirements, quality requirements are also included, certifying the conditions under which the product is supplied, maintained, developed, distributed, and documented.
Evaluated on six characteristics (functional capability, reliability, usability, performance & efficiency, maintainability, portability), these also demonstrate compliance with the requirements of the NF ISO/IEC 25051 standard, known as SQuaRE (Software Quality Requirements and Evaluation).
Maarch thereby confirms its software maturity and its ability to deliver quality tools, tailored to client needs and respectful of the requirements & constraints of its fields of expertise.
