News from Maarch
Since its founding in 2004 (20 years already!), Maarch has never stopped growing. This was once again the case in 2023, with 20% growth and the symbolic €3m mark comfortably exceeded.
This growth has gone hand in hand with improving the quality of our software and services. With the support of the Xelians group, we have invested heavily in our SaaS offering, particularly in security.
Our SaaS has been running remarkably well since the architectural overhaul in mid-2023: our Courrier customers are very satisfied and always on the latest version. To achieve this, we put a lot of work into v2301 to prepare the product for the continuous-integration scalability that SaaS environments require.
For those of you who value privacy and independence, rest assured: the robustness of Maarch Courrier and its adoption of open-source models and standards still let us deploy it confidently on your own servers.
What’s changing in 2024:
- You’re seeing more of us!
Maarch was once again present this year at Documation Porte de Versailles. You’ll also be able to meet us in June at the CoTer numérique congress in La Rochelle, as well as at the Adullact congress in Montpellier. - You help shape the roadmap!
Two collaborative working groups are underway in 2024: the first has been active for a few months and is tackling the overhaul of the electronic signing platform built into Maarch Courrier, which had not fundamentally evolved since 2015.
The second aims to offer the ability to compartmentalize contacts: more on this below. - Maarch products are getting an AI boost!
Everyone is talking about it, but there’s still little concrete progress to date, as we saw for ourselves at Documation. We’ve had a joint Maarch and Xelians team working on this since December, with the work carried out at Maarch’s R&D center in Bidart. The results are genuinely impressive, and we’re doing everything we can to integrate AI into the next major version of Maarch Courrier (RC due June 2024!).
See you soon for more (good) news,

The first feature working group
In partnership with Grand Paris Seine et Oise (GPSEO), Maarch invites you to the first Feature working group, which will take place on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at 2:00 PM.
In keeping with the Open Source philosophy, these working groups are workshops for discussion and exchange around the development of new features in our applications. They offer a unique opportunity to bring the user community together around specific use cases, to study feature developments that are as close as possible to real-world needs!
This first working group will focus on managing contact confidentiality in Maarch Courrier (separating public/private contacts, managing directory access rights…).
Participation in these workshops is open to all users in the community, by registering with Sarah BAZIN, head of the Project team. To ensure a setting conducive to discussion, participation will be limited to 20 people.
Maarch Courrier public feature reviews
Our public feature reviews are back!
Hosted by our CPO, Emmanuel DILLARD, these reviews are a key moment in the life of our company: a chance for our development teams to present the results of their latest work, new product features, or ongoing projects…
These feature reviews will take place every four weeks. The first session will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
