Maarch and Maileva Electronic Registered Delivery (ERE)

Some background

Maarch was the first GEC to natively integrate Maileva connectors into its interfaces, for:

• sending standard letters, in black and white or color, with single or double windows
• sending hybrid registered letters (LREL), where dispatch is digitalized while delivery remains physical, through the postal carrier.

The evidentiary function in the second case is at its maximum and strictly equivalent to a paper mailing.

The fully electronic registered letter (LRE) is fairly complex and is aimed more at correspondence with businesses, notaries, and legal entities in general. As a result, we haven’t received client requests for this offering, which is rarely used by public-sector organizations.

We were, however, won over by Docaposte Maileva‘s offering around Electronic Registered Mail (ERE), which does not require identity verification for either the sender or the recipient. The principle is very simple: in short, it’s an email with receipt validation through a trusted third party.

ERE carries evidentiary value, and can be used whenever the law does not require a traditional registered letter.

Integrating ERE into Maarch Courrier

As a user with an ERE subscription with Maileva, you can send digital mailings directly from Maarch Courrier, using the “simple electronic registered mail” distribution mode.

This fully digitalized option lets you benefit from an entirely digital mailing, with a reduced delivery time and immediate proof generation.

In the Maileva mailing administration settings, you can create an ERE-type template and choose the sender for your mailings. Each template is made available to the selected entities.

Using the Maileva sending modal, select the ERE template configured in the administration settings, then send the mailing made up of the selected documents (“integrated into Maileva mailings”). All documents from a piece of mail sent via ERE are grouped into a single mailing addressed to each recipient.

In the sent items interface, for a Maileva mailing, download the proof of deposit.
